Abstract:
Section 1323 of the Affordable Care Act provides for grants to Territories for the establishment of American Health Benefit Exchanges (hereinafter referred to as 'Exchanges'). This funding opportunity is available to Territories that have elected to establish a State-operated Exchange and comply with Section 1323 of the Affordable Care Act. For the purposes of this Funding Opportunity Announcement, Territories must sign an attestation. Territories making this election will be treated as States for the purposes of applying for Establishment grant funds. States are eligible for up to $1 million each from this cooperative agreement announcement.
