Short Statement: This is a reinstatement of collection 0579-0079. There is a program change of -11,430 annual responses and -7,546 burden hours since the last study was conducted in 2000. The information collected through this study will be used by APHIS to establish national and regional production measures, predict or detect national and regional trends in disease emergence and movement, address emerging issues, examine the economic impact of health management practices, provide estimates of both outcome and exposure variables that can be used in analytic studies in the future, and provide input into the design of surveillance systems for specific diseases.
