Abstract:
The American Community Survey (ACS) collects accurate and timely socioeconomic and housing information historically collected during the decennial census. The Census Bureau began full implementation of the ACS in United States (US) households in January 2005. Implementation of ACS data collection in Puerto Rico (PR) households and in US and PR group quarters started in January 2006.
