Short Statement:
As a result of policy changes announced by the President on April 13, 2009, and January 14, 2011, and reflected in regulatory changes published by OFAC on September 8, 2009 (74 FR 46000), and January 28, 2011 (76 FR 5072), respectively, there has been an increase in the frequency and duration of trips to Cuba by authorized travelers. In addition, OFAC has revised downward its estimate of the time required for a TSP and CSP to gather and enter personal data for each authorized traveler. OFAC has revised its estimates of the burden under this information collection to reflect these changes.
