Terms of Clearance: In accordance with 5 CFR 1320, the information collection is approved for three years. The agency is reminded that it should have in place an internal planning process so that completion of the public notification and comment period required by 5 CFR 1320 occurs prior to an information collection's expiration date. Agencies should submit non-emergency extension requests sufficiently prior to expiration dates to allow for a 60-day period of OMB review.

Short Statement: The total burden has increased by 3,308 hours since the 2008 submission. This is due to DOE estimated that entities will increase training from 1 hour a year to 2 hours a year. The estimated number of reports has stayed the same at 300 annually but DOE increased the estimate for the amount of time to fill in Schedule 1 from 5 minutes to 10 minutes to account for additional data some respondents report in the first filing of the report.
