The information collection is needed to collect transportation mileage for Bureau funded schools for the purpose of allocating transportation funds, and for fiscal accountability and administrative planning.

There was a burden decrease, from six hours to two hours, due to the program office implementing a web-based system (NASIS) to collect the information. There was also an increase in the number of respondents, from 121 to 183, to reflect the accurate number of schools participating in the information collection.

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
