Abstract:
The information requested is used by the Governments contracting officers and other acquisition personnel, including technical and legal staffs to determine contractors technical and management progress and controls of the firms holding public contracts to determine if the firms are making appropriate progress in work agreed to and are otherwise performing in the Governments best interest.

According to FPDS-NG, the number of Post-Contract award information has increased each year over the past two years in annual respondent and burden hours. This increase is the result of a new estimate of awards, which contributes to the Post-Award information that is collected. There is no change in the information being collected.

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
The following is a summary of the topics, regarding the proposed collection of information, that the certification covers:
