Short Statement: There has been a decrease of 8,816 burden hours associated with this information collection. This is related to a decrease in the estimated number of respondents that avail themselves to requesting historical records. The Agency previously reported the cost associated with the wage rate for the respondents, which is not required, and that amount has been removed. USCIS has made some non-substantive changes to the instructions on how to submit these requests, to clarify the filing instructions and update the Privacy and Paperwork Reduction Act-related languages in the form.
