Short Statement: The Report and Order adopts new technical, operational and registration requirements for signal boosters. The new rules create two classes of signal boosters - consumer and industrial - with distinct requirements and estalbished a two-step transitio process for equipment certification for both Consumer and Industrial Signal Boosters sold and marketed in the United States. This results in an estimated program change increase of 324,270 total annual burden hours.
