Abstract:
This is a new information collection request (ICR) titled the ATSDR Exposure Investigations (EI). The ATSDR requests approval for a three-year "generic" clearance to allow the Agency to carry out its public health activities in a more timely and efficient manner than under previously approved National Center for Environmental Health/Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (NCEH/ATSDR) Exposure Investigations (EI), OMB Control Number (OCN) 0923-0040. ATSDR is authorized to conduct EIs under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980 (CERCLA), commonly known as the "Superfund" Act, as amended by the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act (SARA) of 1986 (Attachment 1).
