Short Statement: The total overall increase in burden is the result of an increase of 14,259 hours due to program changes and a decrease of 2,268 hours due to a decrease in the number of respondents. The program changes were needed to meet new international financial reporting standards. The new standards were met by (a) movement of a number of respondents from the TIC C-forms to the TIC B-forms, and (b) the addition of two new rows in the "of which" items at the end of the form: new row "Claims on Foreign-Resident Non-Bank Financial Institutions," and new row "Unpaid Insurance Claims."
