The Covered Financial Company Asset Purchaser Eligibility implements the statutory requirement that assets held by the FDIC in the course of liquidating any covered financial company not be sold to persons who contributed in specified ways to the demise of a covered financial company.

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
