Short Statement: The burden increase stems from an increase in SSI applications reflected by our administrative data between 2013 and the present. As more people apply for SSI, we increased usage of Form SSA-L5061 accordingly. In addition, since 95% of the respondents complete the SSA-L5061 through MSSICS, we are combining the burden under one Information Collection (IC) within this Information Collection Request.
