Short Statement: When the existing submission was created, FHA still allowed for loan correspondents to participate in its programs and had not yet transitioned to the use of TPOs. Therefore, FHA initially estimated information collection burdens based on the expected used of TPOs by DE lenders. Three years later, FHA has updated these estimates with real data, which has substantially reduced the information collection burden associated with OMB Control Number 2502-0600.
