Short Statement: In Release No. 33-9638, the Securities and Exchange Commission adopted amendments to several rules and form requirements under the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 relating to asset-backed securities. The new burden of Form SF-1 is necessary to distinguish offerings of asset-backed securities that are currently registered on Form S-1. Form SF-1 will result in 2,070 burden hours and a cost burden of $2,484,000 for services of outside professionals.
