Short Statement:
This is a revised information collection based on the most recent data, which support a total of approximately 389 fewer burden hours. There are 389 fewer burden hours because there was a decrease in the number of labs (therefore there was a decrease in the number of respondents that have to submit certain lab forms) and the burden for four forms was transferred to the PHIS information collection. There was also an increase in the number of establishments, and therefore an increase in the number of respondents for transactions recordkeeping and the schedule of operations. There is a discrepancy in the total number of responses between ROCIS and the supporting statement (for the currently approved information collection) due to a mathematical error.
Annual Cost to Federal Government:
$760,000
