Abstract:
The Maritime Security Act of 2003 provides for the enrollment of qualified vessels in the Maritime Security Program Fleet. Periodic reporting is used to monitor adherence of contractors to program parameters. Respondents are vessel operators.

The change in burden hours and the number of respondents is due to agency adjustment of the number of hours previously reported for time spent to complete the application, financial statement, etc. In addition, burden cost for copying and postage has been added.
