Abstract:
These forms are the means by which federal, state, and local agencies, as well as individuals, submit fingerprint identification information. Title 28, United States Code, Section 534, allows the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to aquire, collect, classify, and preserve identification/information, criminal identification, crime, and other records. The FBI permits such exchange of records and information with, and for the official use of, authorized officials of the Federal Government, including the United States Sentencing Commission; the States and cities; and penal and other institutions.

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
The following is a summary of the topics, regarding the proposed collection of information, that the certification covers:
