Abstract:
Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands Management Area (BSAI), Amendment 80 allocated several BSAI non-pollock trawl groundfish fisheries among fishing sectors, established a limited access privilege program, and facilitated the formation of harvesting cooperatives in the non-American Fisheries Act (non-AFA) trawl catcher/processor sector (hereinafter the "Program"). This information collection is revised by adding to the Cooperative Agreement the obligation for the AFA cooperative members to ensure full payment of cost recovery fees established by an associated rule (RIN 0648-BE05). This requirement is intended to encourage and facilitate coordination among Amendment 80 cooperative members for the timely and complete payment of fees.
