Abstract:
This is a revision of the Child Care Access Means Parent In School Program (CCAMPIS) Annual Performance Report (APR). This report provides the Department of Education with information needed to evaluate a grantee's performance and compliance with program requirements in accordance with the program authorizing statute. The data collected is aggregated to provide national information on project participants and the results demonstrated by program outcomes. The burden hours are increased due to additional queries that have been added to the APR that capture more specific data needed to enhance the understanding of results demonstrated by this program in accordance with OMB mandates.

Short Statement:
The total 270-burden hour decrease is an adjustment due to fluctuations in the number of CCAMPIS grantees. That is, sixty-four grantees will have completed their awards/grant cycles by the time of submission to the Department in 2015, resulting in 89 total respondents. Increased amounts of PELL distributed by applicant institutions resulted in higher award amounts to awardees, thereby diminishing the number of funded successful applicants under the 2013 competition. Further, the total burden hours are reflective of additional queries that have been added to the APR to capture more specific data needed to enhance the understanding of results demonstrated by this program.
Annual Cost to Federal Government:
$7,862
