Short Statement: The current annual reporting burden for the FR 2420 is estimated to be 47,500 hours. The annual reporting burden for the proposed FR 2420 would be 89,950 hours, an increase of 42,450 hours. The estimated average hours per response for commercial banks and thrifts, U.S. branches and agencies of foreign banks, and significant banking organizations would increase to 1.8 hours based on the proposed changes. The estimated average hours per response for IBFs would be 1 hour based on the proposed changes.
