Abstract:
The 2016 FHWAR will result in a comprehensive database of fish and wildlife-related recreation activities and expenditures. It provides comparable national and State statistics not available from other sources. Survey data are used by Federal and State fish and wildlife agencies to aid in management and policy decisions regarding fish and wildlife resources. The data also provide indices and trends in public demand for fish and wildlife-related recreation opportunities.
