Abstract:
Coal mine operators are required to conduct inspections of slope and shaft areas of hazardous conditions, including tests for methane and oxygen deficiency, before and during each shift and before and after blasting. Records of the results of the inspections are required to be kept.

Recently, the coal industry has declined and because of this, the rate of development of slopes and shafts has decreased. Therefore, there has been a decrease in the estimated number of respondents, as well as the estimated time burden, which decreased from 14,850 to 10,450 hours. .
