Short Statement: In part because burden calculations for enrollment reporting and GE reporting are now assessed under different information collections, the total burden has decreased by 96,082 hours. This adjustment is also due to factors such as the burden for guaranty agencies decreasing as the volume of loans has gone down and, many Perkins schools have opted out of the Perkins Program and transferred their portfolio to the Department.
