Abstract:
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)/Center for Surveillance, Epidemiology, and Laboratory Services (CSELS) offers public health training to professionals in the U.S. and worldwide. Employees of hospitals, universities, medical centers, federal agencies, and state and local health departments register for CDC-accredited trainings. Training activities include classroom study, conferences and e-learning. CDC/CSELS provides the Training and Continuing Education Online New Participant Registration for learners to register for training and introduces a new Training and Continuing Education Online Proposal for course developers to electronically apply for continuing education accreditation. CDC collects only the information necessary to plan and manage accreditation activities pertinent to the agency's mission to strengthen the skills of the the current workforce.
