Abstract:
TTB uses the information collected on form TTB F 5600.38 to determine if a taxpayer meets the criteria to be granted an extension of the time period to make their tax payment because of circumstances beyond the taxpayer's control.

Based on recent experience, TTB estimates that 30 taxpayers will file TTB F 5600.38 annually, an increase of 18 respondents and 5 hours of burden from our previous estimate. This increase is due to growth in the overall number taxpayers regulated by TTB.
