Terms of Clearance: OMB appreciates NASS’s commitment to taking advantage of new data sources and cutting edge technology, such as satellite, web scraped, and sensor data, to create efficiencies, reduce burden, and expand the scope and utility of its existing collections. Within one year of clearance, NASS agrees to provide OMB with a report that describes the current efforts and strategic plan for harnessing alternate data sources, including a discussion of potential opportunities for the 2022 Census of Agriculture.
