An increase of 300 respondents previously reported for this information collection -- attributed better estimates based on the three year receipt of the Form I-191. An increase of 600 burden hours previously reported for this information collection -- attributed to an increase in the time burden from 60 minutes (1 hour) to 90 minutes 1.5 hours); USCIS re-evaluated to better account for the time it would take an average respondent to complete IC. An increase of $75,750 annual cost burden -- attributed to accounting for the out-of-pocket cost that respondents may incur for the form’s preparation.

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
The following is a summary of the topics, regarding the proposed collection of information, that the certification covers:
