Abstract:
The Internal Revenue Service will collect on Form 13551, information from individuals or an entity to enable the IRS to determine whether persons qualify as acceptance agent or a certified acceptance agent. The collection of information is required to obtain an acceptance agent agreement. The use of acceptance agents is in accordance with section 301.6109-1(d)(3)(iv) of the Regulations.

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
The following is a summary of the topics, regarding the proposed collection of information, that the certification covers:
