Terms of Clearance:
In accordance with 5 CFR 1320, the information collection is approved for three years with the following terms of clearance. EIA will update the revised confidentiality pledge in response to the Federal Cybersecurity Enhancement Act of 2015 in each of the impacted collections. The list of OMB Control Numbers impacted by the revised confidentiality pledge include: Commercial Buildings Energy Consumption Survey (CBECS), (1905-0145); Residential Energy Consumption (RECS), (1905-0092); Monthly Natural Gas Production Report, (OMB 1905-0205); Natural Gas Data Collection Program, (1905-0175); Petroleum Marketing Program, (1905-0174); Uranium Data Collection, (1905-0160).

Abstract:
EIA is revising its CIPSEA confidentiality pledge as required by the passage of the Federal Cybersecurity Enhancement Act of 2015. This extends the use of the modified CIPSEA pledge that was approved under an emergency clearance from six months to three years. This modifies the pledge for 11 surveys that are approved under six OMB control numbers.
