Abstract:
The Commission is seeking a non-substantive change request for this information collection. This submission seeks to move (i) FCC Form 507; (ii) the accompanying instructions to FCC Form 507; (iii) FCC Form 508; (iv) the accompanying instructions to FCC Form 508; (v) FCC Form 509; and (vi) the accompanying instructions to FCC Form 509 from OMB Control Number 3060-0986 to OMB Control Number 3060-0233. There are no changes to the burden hours and there are no costs associated with this non-substantive change request. In order to allow determination of the study areas that are entitled to an expense adjustment, and the wire centers that are entitled to high-cost universal service support, each incumbent local exchange carrier must provide certain data to the National Exchange Carrier Association annually and/or quarterly. Local telephone companies who want to participate in the Federal universal service support program must make certain informational showings to demonstrate eligibility.
