Short Statement: This is a request for an extension of the current information collection. There have been no changes to the questions since the initial filing. The FSA ID is a result of the Department’s action to improve user access and security of systems that include personal and financial information used to determine federal student aid eligibility. Therefore, the increase of 7,345,000 in burden hours is due in part to an increase in the time to complete from .13 to .25 hours per response.
