Abstract:
This group of surveys provide indications needed to estimate yield per acre for five major field crops (corn, soybeans, cotton, potatoes, and wheat) and several state specific fruits and nuts. The indications are based on objective measurements and correlated to final yield. Estimates are used in farm policy decisions.

Minor adjustments were made to the responses and burden calculations for the field crops in this submission causing a small adjustment to the total burden and responses. The majority of change comes from the program change for the addition of the fruit and nut objective measurement surveys.
