Short Statement: The reduction in expected number of responses is based on the decreased level of interest and in the decreased amount of Japan tsunami debris in the North Pacific. In addition, commercial vessels have been reporting debris sightings directly to NOAA through disasterdebris@noaa.gov rather than through the use of this form.
