Short Statement: The 58,498 hour burden decrease from 2014 is primarily due to the reduction in the number of government securities brokers and government securities dealers from four to two firms and fewer affected depository institutions since 2014. Additionally, the number of responses per respondent for §405.2(c) decreased from 2,000 responses per respondent to 1,000 responses per respondent.
