Short Statement: This collection is currently approved with 1,163,449 burden hours and 3,879,952 responses. As a result of a final rule, "Revisions and Clarifications in Requirements for the Processing of Donated Foods" (RIN 0584-AE38), FNS estimates that 2,263 hours will be added to the collection as a program change. However, this is offset by a decrease of 5,177 hours due to adjustments for previously omitted requirements and corrections and updates to existing ones, for a total burden hour decrease of 2,914 hours. FNS also estimates that the responses for this collection will decrease by 65,170 responses, primarily due to adjustments. Upon approval of this request, FNS estimates that this collection will have 1,160,535 burden hours and 3,814,782 responses.
