Short Statement: The annual number of responses decreased due to a change in the agency estimate based on Publication 6961, Calendar Year Projections of Information and Withholding Documents for the United States and IRS Campuses. This publication indicated an estimated number of annual responses of 298,500 for 2019. This was a decrease of 88,100 responses from the previously approved annual number of responses of 386,600. As a result of the decrease in the annual number of responses, the annual time burden decreased by 10,572 hours (46,392 hours to 35,820 hours).
