Short Statement: The small decrease in burden from SSOCS:2018 to SSOCS:2020 is due to the omission of the principal advance letter and a reduction in the number of questionnaire items and subitems, which are somewhat balanced out by the expected increase in the number of special handling districts in the SSOCS:2020 sample.
