Terms of Clearance: In accordance with 5 CFR 1320, the information collection is approved for three years. However, as terms of clearance, if the agency submits this package for renewal or extension, they are required to (1) explain clearly how how permit applications get submitted, (2) explain clearly how respondents learn about the need to submit a permit application; (3) demonstrate that agency has considered creating a standard application form to reduce possible confusion and public burden; and (4) include a table that clearly lays out the total burden associated with the collection that is currently presented in separate tables.
