Abstract:
The Sexual Risk Avoidance Education Program Performance Analysis Study (SRAE PAS) is a descriptive study that seeks to collect performance measures data from SRAE program participants and providers that will allow both the program office and grantees to monitor and report on progress in implementing SRAE programs. With this new information collection request (ICR), the Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB) and Office of Planning, Research, and Evaluation (OPRE) in the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) seek approval for collecting data from SRAE program participants and providers. These data will provide ACF with up-to-date information on youth participant characteristics, service receipt, and outcomes, and on program infrastructure, reach and scope, and program content. This is the first federal effort to collect performance measures data on sexual risk avoidance programming.
