Abstract:
This information is necessary in order for U.S. citizens and permanent residents of the U.S. who desire to enter the U.S. from Canada on a small pleasure craft to telephonically report their arrival without having to appear in person for an inspection by a CBP officer.

Electronic Submission option is new and shows an increase, the overall burden hours is decreased due to the electronic submission ability. Also the electronic submission option does not require the fee associated with the paper filing of the I-68 this saves an estimated $800,000 burden on the public per year.

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
