Abstract:
This information collection in 19 CFR Part 177 is necessary in order to allow CBP to respond to requests by importers and other interested parties for administrative rulings regarding the interpretation and application of CBP laws with respect to prospective and current transactions.

There was no increase or decrease in the overall estimated burden hours. However there was a reduction in the Appeals respondent group and an increase in the Administrative Rulings respondent group due to updated agency estimates, in addition there was a decrease in the estimated time per response for the Appeals respondent group. There are no changes to the information collected.

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
