Short Statement: NERC Reliability Standard CIP-008-6 will result in one-time and ongoing increases to burden in the reporting requirements imposed on Reliability Coordinators, Generator Operators, Generator Owners, Interchange Coordinators/Authorities, Transmission Operators, Balancing Authorities, and Transmission Owners. The burden of the current version of the standard, which is being replaced, is approved under FERC-725B. The new, approved version of the standard (submitted in the FERC-725B3 information collection) will impose an additional burden (over the currently approved burden estimate).
