Short Statement: This is a request for a new OMB control number. OMB initially approved the Information collection requirements associated with the Service’s policy on voluntary prelisting conservation actions under OMB Control No. 1018-0158 in conjunction with proposed rule RIN 1018-AY29 (copies uploaded to ROCIS as supplemental documents). However, the Service did not issue a final rule under this RIN and instead, implemented the policy as Service Chapter 735 FW 1 (copy uploaded to ROCIS). Per OMB instructions, the Service is submitting this policy as a new collection in use without an OMB Control Number and upon receiving OMB approval, we will discontinue Control No. 1018-0158 since we did not publish the final rule.
