Short Statement: There was a reduction in burden associated with documenting program eligibility (34 CFR §200.89(c)) and quality control associated with SEA review of eligibility documentation (34 CFR §200.89(d)). This reduction was achieved not as a result of deliberate Federal government action, but rather due to decreases in the number of eligible migratory children, from approximately 332,000 to 304,000 nationally. Additionally, their is an adjustment due to the correction of the technical error that results in a decrease of burden hours. The total downward adjustment is 336,265 burden hours.
