Short Statement: The difference in total burden is due to an estimate adjustment for the number of respondents. The number of respondents is being decreased from 220,000 to 180,000 per year. The cost to the government adjustment is based OPM’s program service fees, cost of living/inflation, system operation and maintenance requirements.
