Abstract:
This is a revision to the currently approved information collection requirements under OMB# 0584-0280 7 CFR part 225, Summer Food Service Program, as a result of the proposed rule, RIN 0584-AE72. The proposals outlined in this rule are expected to reduce the burden for some of the information requirements approved in that collection.

Short Statement:
This information collection is currently approved with 338,411 burden hours and 292,363 responses. FNS has published a proposed rule, "Streamlining Program Requirements and Improving Integrity in the Summer Food Service Program (RIN 0584-AE72)" which FNS estimates will reduce the burden for this collection by 6,590 hours and 21,298 responses. Based on the currently approved collection and the proposed reductions discussed in the rule, FNS estimates that the burden resulting from this rule will be 331,821 hours and 271,065 responses.
