Short Statement: This is a revised impact evaluation that includes surveys of principals and district administrative records on admissions lotteries and student progress. The study will use these data to estimate the impacts of magnet schools on student achievement and diversity and to describe whether these effects are related to such factors as admissions processes, curricular focus, instructional approach, and parent engagement.
