Short Statement: The increase in respondents from 12,000 during the last renewal in 2017, to 13,600 currently, is due to more licensed manufacturers. All Federal Firearms Licensees (FFLs)who possess a Type 07 (manufacturer of firearms) or Type 10 (manufacturer ofdestructive devices) license must file an AFMER annually. The increase in burden hoursfrom 4,000 to 4,533 is also due to more licensed manufacturers.
