Abstract:
Aliens granted conditional residence through marriage to a U.S. citizen or permanent resident use this form to petition for removal of those conditions. The information collected on the form is used to verify the petitioner's status and to determine whether the conditional resident is eligible to have the condiitons of his or her status removed.

Short Statement:
There is a change to the hour burden associated with this collection of information based on an increase in the estimated number of respondents and an increase in the estimated time burden for biometrics to include the travel time to the appointments. The revised estimated cost burden is due to an agency revised assessment of out-of-pocket costs.
